INTENTION |
The purpose of Marathi Gathering is to explore together the questions like: Why is there so much stress and tension in our daily life? Is it possible to live the daily life without any tension? What has J. Krishnamurti's teachings to offer in order to bring about this change? The purpose of Hindi Gathering is to study what J. Krishnamurti has said about meditation and find out its significance in our daily life. |

PROGRAMME |
The programme includes silence session, Krishnamurti's videoes, group dialogues, lectures, panel discussions, evening walks and Yoga sessions. Except for video shows all the other programmes will be in Marathi for Marathi Gathering and in Hindi for Hindi Gathering. However the contents of the videos will be explained in Marathi/Hindi. |
ACCOMMODATION |
Participants will be accommodated in the hostels of the

FOOD |
Wholesome vegetarian food will be served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tea, coffee and snacks will also be available timely. |
WEATHER |
Climate at Sahyadri is moderate. In the month of May, maximum day temperature is around 38oC. A good breeze turning often into strong winds always keeps blowing. Sometimes the pre-monsoon showers considerably bring down the day temperatures. |
FACILITIES |
Laundry, tuck-shop, post-office, telephone booth, primary medical aid and a bookshop containing Krishnamurti's books, audio/video tapes are available on the campus. |

ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE |
The participants are expected to reach the Sahyadri Campus by the evening of day of arrival and leave the campus after morning breakfast or afternoon lunch on the day of departure. Extra stay is possible after the gathering and will be charged separately. |

REGISTRATION |
The non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1,270/- (for dormitory) and Rs. 1,720/-
(for double room)
per
person
per
gathering will be charged. It includes lodging, boarding,
study material and once pick-up (only in a group) and drop to Pune. The fee
is non-refundable. However for some reason if the participant is not able to attend the gathering, he may send a substitute person or get his fee transferred to one of the study workshops only once provided he informs the organisers accordingly latest by 10th May 2010. The
registration fee will be refunded if your name does not get
registered because of lack of space. The registration fee may be sent by
demand draft or postal money order payable to Krishnamurti Study Centre
Sahyadri at Pune along with the registration form duly filled in. The
confirmation of registration along with the other relevant information will
be mailed to you within ten days of receiving the fees. Charges for extra
stay are Rs. 200/- per day per person. The participants can pay these charges
on their arrival at Sahyadri.
